SHIPPING

Delivery time for most new gear orders shipped by ground is 2-5 business days. If your order is time-sensitive, let us know in advance and we’ll do whatever we can to get it to you on time. Orders shipped to a location different than your credit card billing address might require extra security verification. Your tracking number will be emailed within 1-2 business days after shipment.

Shipping rates quoted in our shopping cart are for ground delivery within the continental USA. Most orders are shipped via UPS or Federal Express. New gear orders are drop shipped direct to you from our distributor or from the manufacturer’s warehouse. Most vintage drum gear orders are shipped from our warehouse in Libertyville, Iowa.

If you won’t be home to accept delivery you’re welcome to request signature service upon delivery. Please note that Vintage Drum Center can not accept liability for deliveries left outside of a residence or shipments delivered to apartment complex offices or common drop-off points.

 

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Before returning an item please contact us to get your return authorization (RA) number,  shipping instructions, and a designated return address. Returned items can not be accepted without an RA number. PLEASE NOTE: New Gretsch, Sabian and Tycoon products are not returnable unless defective.

To receive a full refund or credit for the merchandise price, returned new gear items must be in brand new condition and arrive back no later than 14 days from the purchase date. Vintage gear items must arrive back no later than 7 days from the purchase date and in the same condition as when received. All returned items must be fully insured and include all original packaging materials and accessories. If a new gear item shows any sign of use, or is missing accessories, owner’s manual, etc., a 15% -20% restocking fee or disqualification may apply. If the carrier returns an item because it was refused or undeliverable, a restocking fee may apply. Shipping/handling charges are non-refundable. If an ordered item shipped free and is returned for reasons other than damage or defects, outgoing warehouse shipping charges will be deducted from the final refund amount.
