LP Salsa Model Congas stand 28" tall and are designed to accommodate congueros who prefer to play seated. The wider bottom helps keep the drum stable even during the most aggressive play, and adds to the drum's low and mid-range tones.
Constructed of specially selected kiln dried and environmentally friendly Siam Oak, they are topped with hand picked rawhide heads. They feature LP Comfort Curve® II Rims, 5/16" diameter tuning lugs, and reinforced LP Heart® Side Plates, each secured with a backing plate. A layer of fiberglass is added to the inside upper portion of the shell to provide additional strength. They are fitted with new compact design LP ProCare Integrated Shell Protectors that prevent side plate hardware from marking or damaging adjacent drums. Accessory pouch, tuning wrench and LP Lug Lube are included. This is a special order item - ships in 48 hours.
