Used by the top percussionists in the world, LP Generation II® Wood Bongo Drums are constructed of kiln dried Siam Oak. Hand picked rawhide heads have been specially treated to provide uniform opaque white color and softer touch. Standard 7 1/4" and 8 5/8" heads have a more pronounced shell contour to create crisp, distinct high tones.

Specially designed steel backing plate helps to prevent cracks from occurring during agressive Salso genre play. They feature 5/16" diameter tuning lugs that have been carefully formed to hug the shell and plated cast aluminum bottoms. Available in natural wood with chrome, natural wood with goldtone, wine red wood finish or blue/grey wood finish.
