The LP Galaxy Giovanni Series Wood Djembe is the finest in the world today, modeled after the African djembe - a tribal drum known for its amazing dynamics. With modern mechanical tuning, the drum's traditional 25" high shell contour allows the djembe to be played standing with a strap, seated, or on a stand with congas. Crafted of premium, kiln dried North American Ash, the shell is fitted with a 12 1/2" hand selected goat skin head and LP Comfort Curve® II Rims.

LP's speical finishing process brings out the deep, rich grain of the wood under a high-gloss shine while an attractive fabric band decorates the "waist" of the drum. An ideal instrument for drum circles. Tuning wrench and LP Lug Lube included. (Gold Tone hardware shown.) This is a special order item.
