Constructed from specially selected birch pieces and designed by Mario Cortes, the LP Cajon delivers a range of tones from snappy highs to resonant lows. Measuring approximately 19"H, 10"D and 13"W and using a patented construction system, this instrument is hand made and individually tested for sound duplication and quality. Duc-tailed joints ensure durability and the internal wire snare strands add high end sizzle to the conga-like highs and lows. It speaks with the right balance of attack and resonance, opening up a variety of pitches and timbres to complement flamenco and various Latin genres.
