Bosphorus Hammer Hi-Hat Cymbals offer highly responsive and musical sound at all volumes. When played half-opened, these Bosphorus hi-hats are dark & washy. When played while closed, they have a tight stick sound. When played with the foot, they give a bright vintage "chick" sound.

The key to the responsive and delicate character of these Bosphorus Hammer Hi-Hats is pairing an extremely light top (near 800 grams) with a medium heavy bottom (near 1200 grams). These are excellent for subtle brush work!
